The Pacifica High football team is 6-0 for the first time in school history after rallying from a two-touchdown deficit to defeat visiting Santa Barbara 28-20 in a nonleague game Friday in Oxnard.
The Dons (3-3) held Tritons quarterback Adan Salas to 10 yards on 1-of-10 passing and wide receiver Deondre Vines to zero catches in the first half to move out to a 20-7 halftime lead on three second-quarter touchdowns. However, the Tritons’ dynamic duo found its groove after intermission to pace Pacifica’s comeback.
