CALABASAS, Calif. – It wasn’t so much Pacifica High’s offense, averaging 43.7 points per game that made the difference Friday night in winning at Calabasas, as much as it was its defense that came into the game giving up just 7.0 points.
Pacifica managed to keep Calabasas under control in winning a 41-21 nonleague game.
It’s not as if Calabasas was completely stymied on offense. The Coyotes (3-1) rolled up 578 yards of offense against the Tritons (4-0). It’s just that Pacifica kept Calabasas’ 53.7-points-per-game offense limited to just three touchdowns.
